About the Journal

The SZABIST International Journal of Management Sciences (SIJMS) is a biannual journal published by the Department of Management Sciences, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), Islamabad Campus. The aim of the ‘SZABIST International Journal of Management Sciences’ (SIJMS) is to create scholarly discussions for knowledge creation and dissemination. SIJMS seeks a international dialogue forum among scholars and researchers, and publishes papers that aid to advance knowledge of both theoretical and empirical aspects of management sciences.

SIJMS is a platform for delivering management research and academic brilliance. Articles published in SIJMS will enable readers to gain extensive understanding of business organizations and provide subject-specific knowledge in the areas of human resource management, marketing, finance, project management, operations, business strategy, innovation, business analytics, entrepreneurship, supply chain, business ethics and sustainability.

Aims and Scope

SIJMS is an international journal and is devoted to theoretical and empirical research in management and business. The aim of SIJMS is to provide a forum to authors for their research articles and case studies based on diverse contexts of business management and industries.

SIJMS primarily functions as a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality publications in the field of business and management sciences. The journal aims to make its research widely available and visible to professionals and practitioners locally and globally.

Moreover, originality, quality, and practical consequences are the guiding elements of the journal’s editorial policy. The journal welcomes quality research articles on all the current and evolving areas of business and management sciences. SIJMS intends to publish its first online issue in December 2022. The journal welcomes submissions related to but not limited to the following themes:

Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Organizational Behavior/ Human Resource Management, Finance, Business Analytics, Project Management, Marketing, Supply Chain business ethics and sustainability.
